Planned maintenance, reactive call-out and taking over systems from other contractors. This is what we are built to do.
You do not need to replace your equipment to change who maintains it. In most cases we can take on a fire alarm, CCTV or access control system from any installer, on any manufacturer's equipment, and pick up the servicing from the next visit.
The exception is a genuinely closed proprietary system, where the manufacturer restricts programming access. We will tell you straight away if that is what you have, and what your realistic options are — rather than finding out halfway through the first visit.
Scheduled visits at the frequency the standard and your risk assessment require, arranged in advance around your operating hours.
When something fails, one number, one contractor, whatever the system.
The everyday changes a live building needs, priced per job so there are no surprises.
One agreement, one schedule and one set of records across every property you operate.
Frequencies vary with the system, the premises and your fire risk assessment. This is the usual starting point for a commercial building — we will confirm what yours needs at survey.
| System | Typical frequency | Standard | Also required |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fire alarm & detection | Two service visits per year | BS 5839-1 | Weekly call point test by the responsible person |
| Emergency lighting | Annual full duration test | BS 5266-1 | Monthly function test by the responsible person |
| Fire extinguishers | Annual basic service | BS 5306-3 | Extended service or overhaul at 5 or 10 years |
| Intruder alarm | One to two visits per year by grade | BS EN 50131 / PD 6662 | Frequency set by grade and police response level |
| CCTV | One to two visits per year | BS EN 62676 | Retention and time sync checked every visit |
| Access control | Annual, or with the fire alarm service | BS EN 60839 | Fire interface proven door by door |
The point of a service visit is not that someone attended. It is that you can prove what was tested, what was found and what condition the system was left in.
A signed service report listing every check carried out, every device tested and every defect found, left with you on the day.
An asset register per site — panel, devices, locations, install dates and expected life — so you can plan replacement instead of reacting to failure.
Call-out job sheets recording the fault reported, the fault found, the corrective action taken and the status of the system on leaving site.
Whether you need a single service visit, a system taking over from another contractor, or a full installation — we will come and look, then tell you plainly what it needs.
